Your airport collection is something to come back to: a place you passed through last month, an airport you have returned to, or a map you want to share. SkyStamp 1.2 focuses on making those everyday moments smoother.

The update is available on the App Store. Its changes centre on navigation, sorting and filtering, statistics, and share-card previews.

A quicker start and smoother navigation

Version 1.2 shortens the transition from the opening airplane splash into the app. Switching tabs is faster, and screen updates are smoother.

These are improvements to the way you move through SkyStamp. Opening your collection, looking at its map, and checking your statistics are familiar tasks; this release concentrates on the transitions between them.

Find your way through Passport and Map

Sorting and filtering in Passport and Map have been improved. When you return to a collection, these controls help you find the part you want to look at instead of reviewing every airport again.

If you are adding older travels, check the airport name and the visit date before saving. A return to an airport belongs in its existing entry as another Visit Day. Our personal airport passport guide walks through an example with two airports and three visit dates.

Faster previews for statistics and sharing

Stats is faster in 1.2, and so are share-card previews. You can look back over your collection and preview a card before deciding what to share.

Take a moment to review the preview itself. A card is a way to present your airport collection; choose the version you want other people to see before completing the share.

A refreshed look at SkyStamp on the App Store

The App Store information and screenshots have also been refreshed. They show what SkyStamp offers today, from the airport passport and map to its learning activities and sharing options. The release notes identify the improvements above; the current feature list includes capabilities from earlier versions too.
